AIRTIME-Manager Announces Android Availability

Attorneys can now track time on virtually any Smartphone

NASHVILLE, TN - August 21, 2011 - AIRTIME-Manager (www.airtimemanager.com), a leading provider of mobile time tracking and billing applications, today announced support for Android smartphones, making it the first vendor in this category to support the three mobile operating systems used by most attorneys. With Android now accounting for 50% of smartphone activations, this is an important step toward facilitating smartphone choice based on individual preference rather than software availability.

AIRTME for Professionals (A4P) enables users to capture and log time on their Android, iPhone and Blackberry devices. After each call or email, the user is prompted to bill the time. A4P remembers billing matters for each contact, making it possible to log many events with a single click. Or, the user can log new time entries on their smartphone. Once logged the time entry is automatically posted to the firm's time and billing system. Airtime for Professionals is the preferred time management solution of time entry vendors such as Elite, Omega, RainMaker, Orion, Tabs3 and many others.

“Over the past several months, CIOs and IT Directors we've engaged have warmed toward Android,” says Kirk Fackre, AIRTIME-Manager’s CSO. Some already support Android as a choice, and many more are anxious to do so. What's held them back in some cases is support for mission critical systems such as time and billing. We're very pleased to remove what's been the remaining obstacle for many to move forward with the latest crop of innovative mobile devices.”

AIRTIME CTO Frank Ableson also sees a broader play for the rapidly evolving tablet market: "We're already running on iOS devices, and have just released a version optimized for the iPad. Android support buys us compatibility not just for the many Android tablets but also the Blackberry Playbook. We strongly feel that our agnostic position toward mobile operating systems and time and billing vendors is what makes AIRTIME unique."

AIRTIME will be demonstrating its latest versions for Android, iOS and Blackberry at ILTA 2011 rev-elation, in Nashville TN, August 21-25, Booth #427. Mr. Ableson will be giving a talk called App Development for Android and Apple Devices August 23rd at 9:15am.
